This series captures the fleeting moment when cream collides with coffee—an everyday act, reimagined as something abstract, expressive, and full of energy.
It began as a technical test (assisted by Phoebe Pearson), exploring how two liquids interact under pressure and light. We weren’t chasing stillness—this was about turbulence. Bloom, bubble, chaos. That moment where white cuts into black and brown and everything reshapes in real time.
What kept me hooked was the unpredictability. No two pours behaved the same. One frame might look like smoke, another like something planetary—or strangely human. It became less about coffee and more about movement, form, and capturing a split-second transformation that usually goes unnoticed.
